Social Skills

Birch Therapy is offering several social skills opportunities this summer!

90 Minute Topic Based Sessions

led by Erin Garrett, LCSW and Lora Rogers, SLP

These skill based groups at offer a unique spin being led by two separate seasoned licensed professionals. A speech language pathologist (SLP) and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) provides the best of both worlds for learning and practicing social communication skills.
The SLP can introduce and explain the importance of skills like greetings, joining a group, conversation, problem solving, and perspective taking while the LCSW can focus on confidence, mindfulness, self awareness, and conflict resolution all while also curating a safe environment to practice, make mistakes, and have fun learning.

Sessions are divided into children 6-9 and 10-13. $200 per session. Dates are on the Registration page.

All groups will be held at our Raleigh office: 1042 Washington St. Raleigh, NC
